With the recent passage of California Assembly Bill 1064, which grants rebates to solar technologies that replace energy demand, solar chilling has become an attractive option. Nearly half of the energy used in California is for space heating and cooling.  Both types of solar thermal solutions we carry can be used alternatively to cool.


Evacuated tube heat pipe collectors produce a temperature range that best allows for the production of Air Conditioning temperatures.  This cost effective solution can have a payback of less than two years. 



Parabolic troughs systems can achieve the necessary temperatures to produce refrigeration.  Depending on your needs we can custom design a system to meet your demands. If you require more than 60 tons of cooling capacity you may consider using a hybrid system with our EGBHP�.
